LPCB Standing Rules
- Dress Code. Attire for all performances shall be concert black unless otherwise specified by the Artistic Director. Concert black is defined as black bottom (trousers or skirt), black top, black socks, black shoes. Men should wear a long sleeved black shirt and the provided LPCB uniform tie. Women should wear tops that cover the shoulders with elbow length sleeves. Skirts should touch the knee when seated. All attire for men and women shall be professional in appearance.
- The Board of Directors may award honorariums in the amount not to exceed $500 per individual or organization per year.
- The Lynchburg Pops Community Band shall maintain a Post Office Box for official correspondence. The Artistic Director and the Board President shall retain keys.
- Band members shall attend a majority of scheduled rehearsals for a concert.
- The Artistic Director may assign section leaders. Section leader responsibilities include assigning parts, leading sectional rehearsals, and other duties that may be assigned by the Artistic Director.
