Over the years, our digital music library has grown into a fantastic resource. It has been amazingly simple to get everyone prepared for our rehearsals because of it, and we are very grateful for the contribution of Greg, our Librarian, that has made this possible.
As we continue to grow, we are making some updates to how we host our music to ensure we are following the best practices for digital security and copyright standards.
What is Changing?
We are transitioning from a public shared link to a Secure Member Portal. This change allows us to keep our library organized while ensuring that our music remains private to active band members only.
When is this Happening
We will remove access to our shared drive in February. This gives you plenty of time to set up your website login and ensure that you continue to have access to our music.
What You Need to Do
First, you need to create a web site login on this website. About half of the band has done this already, but until now, it has not been necessary.
The simplest way to “join” the band and get a login on our website is to press the music library link on the bottom of the band member home page. From there, if you are not logged in or have never created a login, you will see a “Join Now” button. Press that button and fill in the form and that’s all you need to do.
